Children impacted by trauma often exhibit behaviors that are misunderstood as defiance, inattention, or aggression. This training workshop session will help educators understand trauma’s effects on brain development and behavior, explore the principles of trauma-informed teaching, and develop strategies to create a supportive and responsive learning environment. Educators will learn to shift their perspective from “What’s wrong with this child?” to “What has this child experienced, and how can I support them?”
